Stage 1
The initial part of the process is cutting out the various pieces that make up the shoe.

Stage 2
Next the pieces that make up the uppers are glued and stitched together, adding eyelets and other fastenings.
Glueing the pieces together
Stage 3
Next the sole runners are glued together. Then the uppers are glued to the runners and stitched.
Stitching the upper part to the sole runners
Stage 4
The soles are then glued to the bottom, any excess is cut off, and the shoe is buffed to achieve a smooth finish.
Buffing the shoe
Stage 5
The final process is to steam and put the lasts in the shoe and leave overnight. This gives the shoe its correct finished shape.
